Job Description

FMT is seeking a financial controller based in leeds, this role is office based,and comes with the following responsibilities.

  • Protect the bottom line
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts to deadlines
  • Processing and issuing all regular monthly, quarterly and annual invoices
  • Processing and issuing all Project related invoices
  • Processing and issuing all ad hoc invoices
  • Handling invoice queries and issuing copy invoices as and when required
  • Daily banking and cash posting
  • Credit Control; Bad debt analysis and expediting
  • Supplier invoices – posting, payment and querying as necessary
  • Payroll
  • Payment of Suppliers
  • Daily Cashflow reporting
  • Daily bank reconciliation
  • Licence management and renewals
  • You will be responsible for these activities on our UK and overseas businesses.

You must be able to demonstrate:

  • In-depth use and knowledge of QuickBooks Online or equivalent
  • Credit Control experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Working to deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great team player with an inquisitive nature
  • You must be IT literate and familiar with CRM system usage. You will need to become familiar with the products and services in our business, training will be provided as necessary.

Full-time or Part-time flexible hours, permanent position.
