Programmer (ID: 5VQMjEp8)

• 1. Creating, maintaining and reviewing a programme of work (both in the pre-contract and post-contract stages)
• 2. Producing progress reports and revising programmes and forecasts for team members using planning//programme software (Microsoft Project or Asta)
• 3. Breaking large projects down into phases of development
• 4. Using project management tools to plan timeframes
• 5. Working with Estimators to calculate the resources needed for a project
• 6. Planning contingency programmes in case timeframes change
• 7. Meeting with contractors and suppliers and discuss and review programme issues and discussions
• 8. Demonstrating knowledge of construction (mainly with roofing and façade works)
• 9. Working between office-based staff and site-based staff to ensure consistency on programmes and sequence.
• 10. Producing procurement/design programmes in line with agreed construction programmes
• 11. Critical reviews of programmes for Extension of Time Requests, identifying delays, hold-ups and additional works
• 12. Basic understanding of requirements for Extension of Times/Compensation Events so can be accurately reflected within programmes

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £30,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
