Junior Front End Web Developer wanted by thriving design agency, looking for a Junior Front End Web Developer who will work as part of our team, to design and implement website solutions for our clients. Based in Blyth, we builds brands and websites for clients based all over the world, ranging from Canada to Japan and the UK.

We are experiencing a period of rapid growth and are looking to establish the very best team to take the agency to the next level.

We’re looking to recruit the right person on a full-time basis.

Junior Front End Developer Responsibilities:

• You’ll work within the team to service client accounts and create websites.
• You’ll work closely with our design team, to help bring their website designs to life.
• As a part of our team, we’ll also be looking for you to bring fresh, new, and exciting creative ideas to the table

 Front End Developer Skills Requirements:

• HTML & CSS
• Wordpress / PHP
• SASS (.scss)
• jQuery / Javascript
• Understanding of FTP, Website Hosting, and Working Locally
• How APIs work and how to utilise them

It would also be good if you have…

• Knowledge of Bootstrap / Foundation frameworks
• GitHub
• An understanding of SEO and best practices
• Experience working with Pagespeed Insights, Lighthouse, or similar
• Experience working with AHREFs, SEMRush, or similar
