What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a developer who has a solid understanding of back-end development but also takes pride in crafting visually stunning and user-friendly front-end experiences.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- 2 years of commercial experience in PHP & MySQL development
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience with Bootstrap and Visual Composer (WordPress)
- Working knowledge of WordPress development
- Confident in building mobile-first, responsive websites
- Familiarity with GIT for version control
- Basic cPanel management (hosting settings, domains, backups, etc.)
- Ability to work with designs from Adobe Photoshop or Figma
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with MVC frameworks (ideally Laravel)
- Knowledge of REST & SOAP APIs and payment gateways
- Strong communication skills and ability to contribute ideas within the team
- Passion for web development and a commitment to learning and improvement
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and update PHP-driven websites, including WordPress sites
- Transform business and commercial requirements into engaging user experiences
- Work collaboratively with developers to implement the latest technologies
- Suggest and implement improvements to existing websites
- Communicate effectively with the Client Services and Design team, including:
- Contributing to brainstorming and solution development
- Providing updates on delays, challenges, or project roadblocks
