Job Description

As a Junior Data Scientist, you will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of data-driven solutions using Python. You’ll work alongside senior data scientists and software engineers on exciting projects that involve extracting insights from large datasets, building visualisation tools baed on graph-based models, and applying advanced algorithms to real-world problems.

As we expand our operations, we're looking for a passionate Junior Data Scientist with strong Python skills and a solid understanding of graph theory to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior data scientists and engineers to develop and refine data models.
  • Use Python to analyse datasets, build machine learning models, and automate data processes.
  • Design, implement, and maintain algorithms for graph-based data analysis.
  • Assist in data cleaning, transformation, and preparation for analysis.
  • Communicate findings and insights through clear, visual representations and reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in graph theory, machine learning, and data science.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python with practical experience in data analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
  • Strong knowledge of graph theory and its applications (e.g., social networks, recommendation systems, fraud detection, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of machine learning and data science concepts.
  • Experience working with data visualisation tools (e.g. Streamlit) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
