An exciting opportunity to join Lamington Group and room2 as a Management Accountant in our growing Finance Department. This role offers hybrid working arrangements and the chance to drive the financial performance and strategic decision-making within our organisation.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced finance professional with a background in the hospitality/ retail sectors.

About the role:

• Preparing reports, budgets, commentaries and financial statements
• Continuous monitoring and involvement of ongoing P&L forecasting and scenario analysis to support key decisions
• Preparation of the monthly consolidated management accounts
• Overlooking the progress of bookkeeping to ensure all activities are completed
• Undertaking financial administration and internal audits
• Analysing the Company’s financial performance and making long-term forecasts
• Recommending ways of cutting costs
• Advising managers about the financial implications of business decisions to aid growth and profit
• Developing and managing financial systems/policies
• Controlling and forecasting income and expenditure
• Supporting Finance Manager with day-to-day financial tasks
• Ensuring the Company is compliant with financial governance requirements

Where & When:

You will work 40 hours per week and the Management Accountant role will be based at the head office in Hammersmith 3 days per week, but may be required to travel between all sites within the portfolio.
