Job Description

As a Backend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing backend systems using C#, .NET, and cloud platforms like MS Azure. You’ll ensure high-performance, scalable solutions while working within a DevSecOps environment, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring system security and reliability. You’ll also collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver user-centric solutions and continuously support feature development through the product lifecycle.

Backend Software Engineer Responsibilities:

1: Backend Software Development

  • Develop backend systems using C#, .NET, CosmosDB, and MS Azure.
  • Maintain operational health by monitoring, identifying, and resolving issues promptly.
  • Uphold high engineering standards to promote a robust software development culture.
  • Ensure CI/CD pipelines, observability, automation, and security in a DevSecOps environment.

2: Cross-Functional Collaboration & Agile Delivery

  • Collaborate in agile, cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions that provide value to users and the business.
  • Contribute to all stages of product development, from ideation to production deployment, ensuring the continuous delivery of new features.

Desired Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in backend software development.
  • Strong proficiency in C# and .NET.
  • Solid experience in developing APIs with a focus on performance, scalability, and security.
  • Experience with software design and development in a cloud environment (MS Azure preferred), with a focus on microservice and serverless architecture.
  • Experience in DevOps/DevSecOps environments (Azure DevOps preferred), including CI/CD, observability, automation, and security.
  • Proficiency with NoSQL databases (CosmosDB preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Desired Skills & Attributes:

  • Experience in SaaS-based operating environments.
  • Microsoft certifications such as Azure Developer, CosmosDB Developer, DevOps Engineer, or Solutions data-driven
