We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans for our company. Working with the MD and Founder in a female centric business, this position is ideal for a highly experienced mother or father with young children at school.

Glo provides professional mobile spa, beauty and holistic therapies throughout the UK across a variety of sectors predominantly through B2B partnerships: spa experiences at staycations, pamper parties for Hen do’s and other special occasions; corporate wellness events to support wellbeing in the workplace, and company events for small and large corporate businesses / event companies.

Glo began in 2006 with only a handful of holistic therapists in London to support wellbeing at work, and now offers an extensive selection of premium health, beauty and wellness services across the UK, delivered by a network of 600+ experienced, insured and qualified professional therapists.

Running around 2500 bookings per year and treating over 10,000 end users per year, Glo is now looking for a highly experienced, marketing expert for a part time role (16 hours per week - 4 x 1/2 days per week).

Building on the foundation already in place on Glo’s social media and web presence, google ads, and 3rd party partnerships and corporate clients the Head of Marketing will help to fast track Glo's business to the next level.

The Role:

As Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for brand positioning of Glo, increasing Glo’s profile and increasing revenues. i.e. initiatives to attract and develop b2b clients, repeat business / loyalty schemes with b2c clients; building on Glo’s reputation and experience as leader for 17 years. This is a general all-rounder role. Areas of focus will include social media, digital advertising, website management, data analytics, content management, PR and other opportunities.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and customer acquisition
  • Oversee all marketing campaigns from concept to completion
  • Manage and optimize digital marketing channels including social media (PPC and organic), email, SEO, and Google Ads
  • Analyse market trends and recommend changes to marketing strategies based on analysis and feedback
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities on a monthly basis.
  • Undertake effective analysis of all marketing initiatives, share learnings with relevant colleagues and apply learnings to future plans to improve customer experience and ROI. Identify and implement opportunities for growth
  • Collaborate with all internal teams to ensure that we have the correct message, budget and targeting set up across our campaigns and to develop lead generation strategies
  • Develop marketing processes and procedures to optimise efficiency of marketing spend.

Relevant skills & Experience:

  • Must have an strong marketing background with knowledge of all relevant aspects of marketing a growing business – Wellness, Health and Beauty experience beneficial.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a small team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively among a team who all work remotely from their own homes.
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Proven experience establishing and managing Marketing budgets
  • Proven experience managing successful campaigns on platforms such as Meta, Google, TikTok and Google Analytics, and SEO
  • Reel or Video Content creation
  • Proficient in design software i.e. Adobe/Canva
  • Proficient in English with great command of the language
  • Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and a critical thinker
  • Responds positively to changing priorities and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Employment Details:
