We are looking for candidates with strong programming experience who will apply their problem solving ability to a range of robotics automation tasks. Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong programming skill and experience. The role is rooted in programming, though extends to both electrical and mechanical engineering with tasks including: end effector design and optimisation, motion control, networking, SBC and microcontroller work, pneumatics control, computer vision...

We are a fast-growing company with 20 years’ experience in the food equipment supply industry. We design and manufacture delta robots from the ground up to meet the requirements of the food industry and over the following years look to develop our machines further to suit a wide range of automation applications.

Robotics Programmer Key Responsibilities:

• Development of new robotics applications
• Helping innovate upon current robotics systems
• Integration of ‘RuggedEye’ computer vision system with motion control

Robotics Programmer Essential Qualifications/Knowledge:

• Educated to degree level (or higher) in Computer Science or other related discipline.
• Proven Programming background

Robotics Programmer Desirable Skills:

• Experience in C++ (OOP), C#, Java
• Microcontroller Experience
• Linux & SBC Experience
• Computer Vision (openCV)
• Networking (Canbus/CanOpen, UART, I2C, SPI)
• Electronics (General, PCB design, motor control)
• CAD Experience
• Robotics Knowledge

Robotics Programmer Package:

Working hours are Monday to Friday, free Parking, Pension Scheme, 20 Days Annual Leave rising to 25 days with service & Bonus Scheme.

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: £27,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
