Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. This role requires a strong customer service orientation and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our IT infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to end-users via help desk, phone, or in-person.
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware issues on Windows operating systems.
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows Server environments.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions within Active Directory.
  • Diagnose network connectivity issues using TCP/IP protocols.
  • Document support requests and resolutions for tracking and reporting purposes.
  • Maintain an organised inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical problems.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to user inquiries and concerns.

Skills Required for IT Support:

  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems, including desktop support experience.
  • Microsoft 365 including SharePoint and Entra (365 migration and Azure set up),
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking principles.
  • Experience with software troubleshooting and installation processes.
  • Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

IT Support Engineer Requirements:

  • Full driving license and own car. Frequent visit to customer sites required
  • Able to work weekend and late evenings.
  • Experience in MSP environment is advantage
