Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills and a solid understanding of business analysis principles. You will be responsible for interpreting complex data sets, providing actionable insights, and contributing to informed decision-making processes within the organisation. Proficiency in tools such as Power BI and programming languages like Python will be advantageous in this role.

Data Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards using Power BI to visualise key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Utilise SQL for querying databases and extracting relevant data for analysis.
  • Participate in project management activities to ensure timely delivery of data-related projects.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of database structures to support data integrity and accessibility.
  • Apply knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to enhance data processes and workflows.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in data analysis with a strong understanding of business analysis concepts.
  • Proficiency in SQL for database querying and manipulation.
  • Familiarity with Power BI for creating interactive dashboards.
  • Knowledge of Python for data manipulation and analysis is preferred.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Understanding of database design principles is advantageous.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a keen attention to detail.
