Job Description

As we continue to grow, we are looking to add another senior developer into our UK team, with a minimum 5 years of practical experience developing, testing, and deploying end-to-end database, data warehousing and Power BI solutions.

Most of our solutions today are based on the data we extract from cloud SaaS application APIs. Our integration platform maintains a copy of the raw data in SQL databases and our data engineering and BI teams get hands-on with that data in Power BI via SQL or Databricks for our larger solutions.

This role requires you to work in the office two days per week. Therefore, you must be able to reliably commute to the office in London, E2

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy end-to-end database, data warehousing, and Power BI solutions.
  • Build accurate and visually compelling dashboards and reports with high design standards.
  • Work closely with clients and team members to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Develop prototypes of new solutions quickly and integrate client feedback.
  • Share expertise and mentor colleagues to support team development and success.
  • Stay up to date with the latest tools and technologies in BI and data management.
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Take on additional responsibilities beyond technical work, assisting with team coordination and project planning.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • At least 5 years of commercial experience with Power BI development and deployment.
  • Expertise in M Query and DAX for creating complex data models and reports.
  • Strong SQL skills (MS SQL preferred) and experience with data warehouse technologies (e.g., Databricks).
  • Proven ability to create high-quality, insightful dashboards and reports.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to turn client needs into practical BI solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • A proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges.
