Job Description

Trailblaze IT have been providing IT services to SMBs & the education sector for over 8 years.

We are looking for an experienced 2nd Line Support Engineer to join our friendly support team. This role involves providing 2nd line remote and onsite support to our customers. As you will be working within a team environment and speaking to customers on a daily basis, your communication skills must be very strong.

This role would suit a candidate with experience in 2nd line support.

This role is available on a full-time basis.

You will be:

  • Able to quickly troubleshoot and resolve issues

You will have the technical ability to support the following:

  • Windows 10, Mac OS, Chromebooks
  • Printing, Group Policy, Backup Systems & Networking
  • Microsoft 365 & Google Workspace
  • MDM for iPads
  • VoIP phone systems

Desirable Experience in:

Server 2019 onwards, Active Directory, PowerShell, Backups, Hyper-V, VMWare and Failover Clustering
Networking: LAN, WAN, VPN, VLANs, Switches, Managed WIFI, Firewalls and Routers

Requirements:

  • 2+ Years experience in an IT support role
  • Clean driver's license and your own car
  • Good documentation skills
  • Strong ticket handling ability, including detailed note recording
  • Standard working hours are Monday - Friday 8 am - 4.30 pm

30 days holiday, including bank holidays

This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check at of cost of £38

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £30,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
