Are you a highly skilled and motivated Senior Laravel Developer, if so we want to hear from you. We are looking for a senior laravel developer to lead the development of our web and cloud-based applications. As a senior team member, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and scaling complex applications while developing a team and collaborating closely with the owner and management team.

Senior Laravel Developer Key Responsibilities 

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance applications using PHP and Laravel.
• Lead architectural discussions, ensuring best practices in coding, system design, and project planning.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translating them into technical solutions.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Migrate older codebase to Laravel.
• Actively contribute to the company’s strategic development and product roadmap.

Essential Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of professional experience in PHP development, with a strong focus on Laravel.
• Advanced knowledge of MySQL and database optimization.
• Expertise in Git and version control systems.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to solve complex problems and work independently.
• Ability to Implement and uphold industry-standard processes and best practices in development, including structured workflows, code reviews, and documentation protocols to enhance project quality and team efficiency.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Knowledge of Backpack for Laravel.
• Experience with modern testing practices (e.g., unit testing, TDD) and continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD).
• Proficiency with core web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Vue.js or React.
• DevOps and deployment experience, including understanding of cloud platforms (DigitalOcean, AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
