We have a vacancy for a Test and Development Engineer at our research and development lab located in Witchford (near Ely), Cambridgeshire. This is an exciting opportunity to get inside the heart of the expanding and vibrant digital video plus AI/ML technology industry.

*Duties*

Working on our range of embedded computer and digital video products, as part of a dynamic team of Electronics and Software Engineers, the responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Formulation of technical solutions and test approaches for hardware
  • Integration testing of rugged embedded video platforms and cards
  • Test data collection and reporting of observations
  • Conformance testing of products
  • Investigation and resolution of hardware issues
  • Assisting development engineers towards producing new products.

*Technical Skills (Essential)*

The applicant should have skills and experience in the following areas:

  • Experience and knowledge of circuit board testing
  • Ability to read and understand electronic circuit diagrams
  • Familiarity with PC architecture, PCI bus, PCIe
  • Experience in using digital meters and oscilloscopes
  • Experience of using soldering iron
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Qualified to C&G/HND/HNC/Degree level
