A Mid to Senior level full stack developer wanted, to join our expanding team and work on a variety of business-critical applications, websites and integrations. The Ideal candidate will be a full -stack PHP developer with a passion for solving complex problems through clean, well-written and maintainable code.

You are a motivated hands-on developer who enjoys working as part of team. You should have a passion for software development best practices, enjoy learning and sharing innovative technologies and techniques. As a confident developer, you will be provided with opportunities to run as technical lead for projects, working closely with stakeholders to design solutions that solve specific business problems.

This is a Hybrid Role with a 3-day office / 2-day WFH split.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development of bespoke software and middleware solutions to support the business.
  • Write high-quality, maintainable, and secure code.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, communicate technical solutions, and manage expectations.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues.
  • Mentor junior developers and peers, providing guidance on coding standards, software architecture, and problem-solving.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and tools.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety
  • Any other duties deemed necessary by the company for the successful completion of the role or for the benefit of the company.

Required Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • 3+ years of hands-on development experience.
  • Solid PHP fundamentals
  • Knowledge of common vulnerabilities / OWASP.
  • Framework experience – ideally Laravel or Symfony.
  • Use of modern workflow / tools (Git, Composer etc…)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills

Desirable but not essential:

  • Familiar with a software development approach – E.g., Agile / Scrum.
  • Experience in writing frontend and backend unit and integration tests (PHPUnit/PEST).
  • Use of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Docker
  • Knowledge of a modern JS framework – E.g. Vue or React.
