As a Senior Security Operations Analyst, you will:

This will include but not limited to:

• Act as a key escalation point for security incidents, leveraging tools like Microsoft Sentinel and Defender 365.
• Detect and respond to cyber threats while creating high-fidelity detection rules and automation process.
• Collaborate with Cloud Security Architects to enhance risk strategies
• Mentor junior SOC analysts and shape the future of the SOC services.
• Dive into vulnerability management and help onboard new clients.

Key Skills and Experience required for a Senior Security Analyst:

• Proven experience in IT Operations including incident management, change and problem resolution.
• Expertise in cybersecurity processes, playbooks, and managing security tools like endpoint protection and email proxy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail
• Familiarity with Microsoft cloud security tools, including Sentinel and Defender 365.
• Knowledge of industry standards such has Mitre Attack Framework and Azure cloud services.
• Effective communicator, skilled at engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Relevant certifications (e.g., SC-200, SC-900) are essential, with additional certifications desirable.
• Team player with a proactive mindset, calm under pressure, and focussed on service excellence.
