Summary:
Recurrent Energy Power Services (REPS) Operations and Maintenance operates utility-scale solar plants and battery energy storage systems on five continents. With close to 5 GW contracted and under operations, REPS has developed recognised expertise in the field of solar plants and battery energy storage system operations. Engineering know-how, analytic prowess, and technical on-site skills ensure that our clients can count on the best service for their plants.
In line with our current growth, Recurrent Energy O&M is looking for a junior Python developer to assist with the maintenance and further development of our scripts, and related database activities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, review and enhance Python scripts for data analysis and data collection
- Work with SQL Statements for data manipulation and cleansing
- Optimize and improve scripts and data tables to make processes more efficient and reliable
- Help develop a strong documentation framework for our code
- Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Recurrent Energy Solution Code of Business Conduct
- Adhere to all environmental, health and safety rules and company policies
- Complete other duties and projects as assigned
Key Skills:
- Well organised with the ability to prioritise tasks as required
- Enthusiasm, organisational, and analytical with problem-solving skills with a positive and flexible attitude to work being reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working in a pressurised environment and to tight deadlines and on your own initiative
- Excellent computer skills are critical to this role specifically MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Full clean driver’s licence
