Job Description

We are a specialist provider of language services to the travel insurance and assistance industry. Our company utilises a bespoke, in house platform to manage job workflow and provide a secure editor for translators to use. We are looking to make some big enhancements to the platform and are looking for a skilled .Net Developer with a good understanding of AngularJS to take over development of the system.

The role will require looking after all aspects of the development cycle, from capturing and architecting new business requirements, implementing this in code, and deployment of the system to our production environment. As such the role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.

As a small company, the successful candidate will be our only developer. With guidance from our CTO, you'll be expected to work with all other stake holders within the business to fulfil priorities and work in a self-directed manner towards mutually agreed outcomes.

Residence and right to work in UK is essential.

We offer the ability to work remotely, and a quarterly profit and performance related bonus scheme. The salary on offer is £51,000-£55,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Upgrade, maintain and strengthen our application using the .NET framework.
  • Collaborate with in company teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices in software development.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications, ensuring minimal disruption to users.
  • Create and maintain documentation for software designs, processes, and user manuals.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years professional experience with C#.
  • A solid understanding of Web Applications written in AngularJS.
  • Experience with database management using PL/SQL and SSRS.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience will be considered.
