We are seeking a talented individual to join our team in Lincoln, UK, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, usability, and clarity of our software testing and quality assurance activities.
You will be responsible for:
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive and user-friendly software documentation, including user guides, technical manuals, and API documentation.
- Collaborating closely with development teams to gather technical information and ensure accurate documentation of software features and functionalities.
- Reviewing and editing existing documentation to improve clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Participating in software testing and quality assurance processes, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Identifying and documenting software defects and issues and working with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Contributing to the development of automated testing scripts and frameworks.
- Embracing Agile methodologies and DevOps practices to enhance software development and testing processes.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to software documentation, testing, and quality assurance.
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong proficiency in creating clear, concise, and well-structured documentation.
- Expertise in an Automated test tool is a must, Scripting languages advantageous.
- Familiarity with software testing methodologies and quality assurance practices.
- Experience with DevOps practices and Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of Cloud technologies and platforms.
- Proven experience in technical writing, preferably in the software development domain. BDD advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, Team player, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- A passion for continuous learning and adapting to new technologies.
