Junior Fullstack .NET developer (ID: VWx2OjIN)

We are seeking a junior fullstack .NET developer with a background in developing scalable MVC Web Applications with rich user interfaces, offering great usability features. Candidates must be well versed in .NET patterns and practices with experience of using IoC and Data Access frameworks a must. However, they must also be comfortable working with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, with experience of MVVM Frameworks and TypeScript, highly desirable. Business knowledge of the hospitality industry highly advantageous.

The successful candidate must be able to manage themselves and their deliverables in an independent manner. They will join a team who are responsible for the development, maintenance and improvement of an existing web-based enterprise system used in the Hospitality space.

Junior Fullstack .NET Developer Responsibilities:

• Develop new features and expand functionality of the software platform.
• Understand business requirements and propose solutions which enhance the user experience.
• Collaborate effectively with other developers and Project Manager to deliver sprints of work on time and in full.
• Identify and resolve issues found during testing.
• Document solutions where necessary.

Essential Skills:

• Strong knowledge of .NET and MVC Framework, particularly .NET 4.8 Framework 
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript (using Typescript a bonus).
• Familiar with various design and architectural patterns.
• Familiar with MS SQL Server.
• Experience of using IoC Frameworks such as Ninject.
• Experience of using code first data access frameworks, such as the Entity Framework.
• Ability to write clean, readable, and easily maintainable code.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GIT and Mercurial.
• Ability to understand business requirements and solve problems.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Can demonstrate Self-management, Teamwork and Attention to detail

Desirable Skills:

• MVVM frameworks such as Knockout JS or Angular JS.
• Vue.js/React/Angular
• Bootstrap CSS framework
• Developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
•  Familiar with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience of integrating with Payment Gateways.
• Experience of integrating with EPOS Systems.
• Agile Project Management Tools such as Jira or YouTrack
•  Continuous integration tools such as Team City or Bamboo
•  Experience of building CRM systems
• Graphic design - any UX/UI experience

The office is in Chester, UK but this position is fully remote. Candidates should work in GMT-2 to GMT+2 time zones, but other time zones would be considered for the right person.

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
