Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web design principles and a passion for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites. You will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to function, according to our client’s specifications. A keen eye for aesthetics and functionality is essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement visually engaging website layouts that enhance user experience.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to gather requirements and translate them into functional designs.
  • Develop responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React and Redux.
  • Create wireframes and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas.
  • Utilise PHP and MySQL for backend development tasks as needed.
  • Incorporate email marketing strategies into web designs to optimise client outreach.
  • Use Adobe After Effects for animations and visual effects on web pages.
  • Conduct thorough testing of websites across various browsers and devices to ensure compatibility.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in web design.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Web Designer or similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, React, and Redux.
  • Familiarity with wireframing tools such as Sketch or similar applications.
  • Knowledge of email marketing principles and strategies is advantageous.
  • Experience with VHDL is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey design concepts to clients and team members.
