Smart Building Engineer required.

We are a well-established FM contractor operating throughout South Wales and the West of England. We are looking for BMS Engineers to join us, working mainly with commercial clients to improve the utilisation of existing BMS systems with our bolt-on hardware, or to install new.

Our goal is to connect all building assets and use the data to form an exciting new and monitored service offering that is unrivalled by any UK competitor.

As the building automation engineer, you will be carrying out commissioning, service and maintenance works, callouts and projects. This position requires substantial proactive field-based customer-facing activity, focussing on service delivery, quality and client relationships.

BMS Engineer Position Overview:

• To attend sites as required to service BMS and Discreet control systems, carry out Small Works Projects or Remedial Works together with system Upgrade works if required.
• Complete fault diagnosis and rectification on the whole range of BMS equipment.
• Identify potential systems software and hardware issues that may lead to unnecessary failure of services, thereby minimising risk, disruption and inconvenience to building users.
• To be able to fault find and if capable carry out control panel modifications and installations as required.
• To advise clients on potential improvements and recommendations for their system.
• Attend Callouts and Breakdowns as required.
• To submit daily service reports detailing works carried out and any recommendations or remedial items needed, ensuring part numbers, time required, and any other relevant information is provided to enable the administration team to produce the required quotation.
• Participate in out-of-hours call-out rota - optional
• BMS Engineer Position Requirements
• 3 years experience in a similar role
• Confident working on the Office 365 suite.
• Keen to explore technologies such as Modbus, Power BI, Chat GPT, etc

• 33 days holiday inc BH's
