We are in search of a highly skilled, experienced lift engineer specialising in roping and gear work to join our dynamic team. As a lift/roping engineer, your main responsibility will be to regularly attend sites to handle rope shortenings, re-ropes, and gear related works. We offer one of the best rates in the industry. Additionally, you'll receive specialist tools, a fully equipped high-spec van (renewed every three years), fuel, and a personal-use allowance. We also offer regular health and safety refresher training and PASMA qualification if not already obtained.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting rope shorten ups, re-ropes plus diverter and gear-works
  • Attending site to provide routine maintenance and repairs relating to roping and gear mechanisms
  • Providing regular updates and reports

Requirements:

  • Proven experience and expertise in roping and gear work within the lift industry
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to lift ropes and gear mechanisims
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently both indivually and as part of our team
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
