As a result of expanding product development and an acquisition, we need a .NET Full Stack Developer to help us deliver custom software for projects built around the Genesys Cloud CX Platform as well as our third-party products.
The role fits inside the “CX Products Team”, who develop and maintain a variety of different products that integrate with Genesys, but also working closely with the Project, Support, Pre-sales and Sales Teams.
This is a customer-facing role, and you will be expected to attend occasional face-to-face meetings with customers across the UK.
The software development projects we expect you to undertake will be highly varied, complex, and will use a number of different technologies.
Examples include:
- Integrating between Genesys and an HR system in order to provide attendance and performance data to the HR system for payment, as well as synchronising data on planned shifts between the two systems;
- Designing and implementing an email proxying mechanism in order to hide the email sender’s identify from agents in Genesys
- Using real-time statistics from Genesys (via our product) to calculate whether to show or hide a “web chat” button based on how busy a customer’s contact centre currently is
- In addition to implementing these disparate solutions, you will be called upon to maintain and update these if needed, working with the Support Team to help them support this custom software.
- You will be working alongside a number of teams, which you will be able to call on as needed for specialist expertise or other assistance. We provide hosting and management services from infrastructure in AWS and Azure.
- Your Part to Play: As part of a new sub-team working within the CX Products Group, you will deliver custom software for customer projects.
- You will contribute towards the high-level design, statements of work, and low-level design documents, as well as provide basic documentation on any code that is written.
- This includes conducting and organising research on the best way to achieve a particular technical goal, understanding customers’ business requirements, and providing timescale estimates.
- You will adhere to our Secure Coding Policy.
