Joining the team, you will drive innovation by collaborating with our internal customer base to interpret business requirements and develop new features that enhance our award-winning software. Collaboration is key, and you will work closely with test engineers to quickly identify and resolve issues, maintaining the quality of our products. As a senior member of the team, you will participate actively in team meetings, share your insights and contribute to project discussions and act as a mentor to junior team members.

Senior Software Developer Core Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Teach and guide other developers
  • Enforce internal standards within the team
  • Undertake code reviews and provide feedback based on internal practices
  • Analyse application requirements and write technical documents to support development
  • Troubleshoot complex development issues
  • Accurately estimate work
  • Review code and develop new features
  • Maintain existing applications
  • Interact with testers regularly to identify and address issues promptly
  • Attend and participate in team and project meetings

Essential:

  • Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • .NET
  • SQL
  • React (or similar, for example, JavaScript/Vue/Angular)
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and application development processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing individual tasks effectively.

Desirable:

  • Basic knowledge of telecommunications
  • Experience with Geographical Information Systems (GIS)
