Web Developer - Chichester, West Sussex (ID: ilsIFWaS)

We are looking for a talented and motivated Web Developer to join our dynamic team in Chichester. If you have a passion for web technologies and enjoy working in a collaborative, innovative environment, this role is for you! You’ll be working on a variety of web applications, contributing to both front-end and back-end development using modern technologies.

Web Developer Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and improve web applications using PHP and Laravel.
• Work with JavaScript, Vue.js, and jQuery to create dynamic and responsive user interfaces.
• Implement and consume RESTful APIs for seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality web solutions.
• Use Git for version control and participate in code reviews.
• Work within an Agile environment, using JIRA to track tasks and project progress.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise applications for performance and security.
• Stay up to date with emerging web development trends and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in PHP and experience with the Laravel framework.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript, with experience in Vue.js and jQuery.
• Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration.
• Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
• Experience using JIRA for task management.
• Basic understanding of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.

Understanding of MVC architecture and best coding practices.

Familiarity with cloud services or deployment tools.
