Looking to hire a Senior Technical Manager to lead our multi-vendor service operations. This is a great opportunity for a driven mid-level manager looking to progress into a more senior role. You will design and implement our next generation of service processes in compliance with ISO13485:2016 standards, setting us apart through superior quality. Hands-on expertise in x-ray repair and maintenance is essential. The role offers a pathway to progress to Service Director.
Senior Technical Manager Key Responsibilities:
Service Operations Management
- Oversee all aspects of the multi-vendor service operation.
- Design and implement service processes aligned with ISO13485:2016 standards.
- Ensure high-quality service that distinguishes us in the industry.
Field Service Leadership
- Apply hands-on expertise in x-ray repair and maintenance.
- Participate in field service activities as needed.
- Mentor and support the engineering team through direct involvement.
Team Leadership
- Recruit and develop the x-ray and ultrasound field service engineering team.
- Foster a culture of team loyalty, company pride, and customer-focused service.
- Motivate and inspire team members through active leadership.
Financial Management
- Manage the service operation's Profit & Loss (P&L).
- Control budgeting and financial performance.
- Understand the importance of profitability in sustaining service excellence.
Strategic Collaboration
- Work closely with the Business Development Manager and the CEO.
- Support sales teams in client engagements and presentations.
- Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.
- Stay informed about industry trends and integrate best practices.
- Manage shifting priorities with a constructive approach.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education
Minimum HNC; ideally a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Significant experience as a senior technical manager in the medical imaging or related industry.
- Hands-on experience in x-ray repair and maintenance.
- Experience designing and implementing compliant service processes.
- Familiarity with ISO13485:2016 standards.
