C# Software Developer (ID: nBVrdFKf)

We are a small specialist IT company who provide software to pedigree breed societies. We are in the process of completely re-writing comprehensive and sometimes quite complex legacy software, migrating the datasets and functionality for each of our 160 plus breeds, while maintaining an uninterrupted service. The new systems are all on an Azure database in the cloud.

The successful candidate would work closely with the very small existing team. They will be involved at an early stage in the design and development of new modules as they are created, and the enhancement and maintenance of existing modules. It is quite a big, complex and specialist project, but an attractive challenge to the right person.

Flexible working hours are also a possibility for someone returning to work or with family commitments

Experience with the following would be essential :

• C#, .NET Core, Blazor, WebAPI, DevOPS, CI/CD and Azure Cloud.
• Knowledge and experience of relational database preferably Microsoft SQL Server on Azure.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C#, .NET Core, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Utilize Azure for cloud deployment and management of applications.
• Ensure code quality through regular testing and code reviews.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software development.
