We are offering an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our team as a Junior NetSuite consultant. NetSuite is a cloud-based ERP system supporting multi-industries from accounting to manufacturing.

Web Control offer multiple support services for the NetSuite platform including system optimization, day to day support, and full ERP implementations.

The right candidate should be self-motivated and driven to improve their knowledge and skill set, setting personal goals and hold a vision to progress with the aim of becoming a Project Lead.

We are looking for someone that is not afraid to push themselves out of their comfort zone, someone that thrives on new challenges and opportunities. The right candidate needs to be personable with excellent communication skills and the willingness to learn and develop themselves every single day.

Providing solutions for customer requirements is a big part of the role and the ability to problem solve and think outside the box to devise solutions is a huge benefit within this role and more so with career progression.

Time management and good organizational skills are necessary as the day-to-day role will include working on multiple projects for multiple customers over the same period.

There is no experience needed for this role as a full structured training plan is available for the right candidate, and the right person will have full support from the wider team as well as a dedicated Project Lead to guide your personal development.

The right candidate will undergo training while supporting the existing team with ongoing projects and support for our existing customers. Certification in this area will also be available to partake in once sufficient knowledge has been gained.

The role will also require the candidate to be part of Teams/Zoom calls with our customers and prospects. They may occasionally need to go onsite and visit our customers to deliver work. So, possessing a UK driving license is ideal although not essential. While onsite you will be representing Web Control so being presentable and acting professionally is to be expected.

The successful applicant would at least possess some of the following qualities:

Junior Technical Consultant Role Responsibilities:

The Junior Technical Consultant is responsible for providing technical expertise in implementations, customizations, and integrations. This role involves working closely with consultants, developers, and project managers to deliver tailored solutions that align with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Support for Projects

    Work alongside functional consultants to deliver custom solutions.
    Develop SuiteScript (1.0 & 2.0) customizations, SuiteFlow workflows, and SuiteTalk integrations.
    Assist in data migration, ensuring accuracy and seamless transition from legacy systems.
    Troubleshoot technical issues, optimizing system performance and reliability.
    Ensure projects align with NetSuite best practices and company methodologies.

2. Integration & Development

    Design and implement integrations with third-party applications (CRM, eCommerce, Finance, etc.).
    Utilize REST and SOAP APIs to enhance system connectivity.
    Build and maintain custom scripts, workflows, and automations.
    Ensure secure and scalable integration architectures are in place.

3. Supporting the Technical Team & Cross-Team Collaboration

    Work closely with Technical Leads, developers, and consultants to deliver high-quality solutions.
    Provide technical documentation and assist in knowledge sharing within the team.
    Support pre-sales efforts, offering technical insights and feasibility assessments for new projects.
    Assist with troubleshooting customer support issues, offering technical resolutions when needed.

4. Learning & Professional Development

    Participate in internal training sessions, helping develop team-wide technical capabilities.
    Work towards certifications to enhance expertise.

5. Other duties

Attend customer site if required within the UK and abroad

Out of hours working and weekend work may be required and will be recompensed.

Additional Information: 

    Once the closing date has passed, successfully shortlisted applicants will be invited to take an aptitude test and if they pass the test, they will then be invited to the next round of our recruitment process (interview).

    Also, although this position is remote, there will be the opportunity to visit our customer sites, so a UK driving licence is very much desirable and being UK Based is essential.
