Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in porting / software configuration and application support within Microsoft Dynamics environments.

This role involves configuring and optimizing Microsoft Dynamics applications to meet business needs, providing application support, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver successful implementations and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Porting / Software Configuration

  •     Configure Microsoft Dynamics applications to meet business requirements, including customization of modules, workflows, and reports.
  •     Migrate data and applications to new versions or platforms as needed.
  •     Develop and maintain detailed documentation for configurations and customizations.
  •     Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional specifications.
  •     Conduct system configuration reviews to ensure best practices and adherence to company standards.

2. Application Support

  •     Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Microsoft Dynamics applications.
  •     Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application functionality, performance, and integration.
  •     Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurrence of issues.
  •     Work with end-users to provide training and support for new features and functionalities.
  •     Monitor system performance and implement optimizations as needed.

3. Collaboration and Communication

  •     Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other consultants to ensure successful project delivery.
  •     Participate in project planning, status meetings, and post-implementation reviews.
  •     Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
  •     Provide mentorship and guidance to junior consultants and support staff.
  •     Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  •     Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  •     Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Functional Consultant with Microsoft Dynamics.
  •     Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics modules and functionalities.
  •     Proven experience in porting / software configuration and application support.
  •     Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  •     Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience with multiple versions of Microsoft Dynamics (e.g., Dynamics 365, AX, NAV).
    Familiarity with integration tools and techniques for Microsoft Dynamics.
    Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics or related technologies.
