Software Developer and Devops Engineer (ID: rLmJDxZ2)

We are looking for a talented Software Developer and DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. This is a permanent role based at our office in Lavant and will give you exposure to the latest technologies while working on cutting-edge web and mobile solutions. Due to the nature of the business, we need you to be able to work from our office so you become embedded in the company with remote work being an option in the future.

We provide creative 'Digital Transformation' solutions using the latest technologies. We help ambitious companies transition to digital business management platforms that offer them internal efficiency gains as well as empowering their workforce to maximise their time.

Our platforms are all based on the latest Angular/React ecosystems with NodeJS and .net backends. All our systems are delivered using cloud platforms ensuring our clients can scale at will and the platforms can match their ambitions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior software engineers to design, develop, and maintain software platforms
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Monitor and maintain application insight platforms
• Respond proactively based on gathered data
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards
• Debug and fix platform issues
• Perform performance reviews of key systems ensuring they are scaling well
• Assist in the development of technical documentation
• Work alongside creatives to deliver usable and performant solutions
• Have a keen interest in web technologies, always looking toward what platforms/libraries would be beneficial to our delivery

Experience:

• Computer science-related qualification
• Good knowledge/interest in programming languages & platforms such as NodeJS, Angular, React and .NET
• Experience with vanilla javascript or jQuery
• Knowledge of Microsft Application Insights, Sentry or equivalent
• Familiarity with database technologies including MongoDB and SQL
• Good understanding of web fundamentals - HTML, CSS, javascript
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and application development principles

Experience Preferred :

• React: 1 year   
• Angular: 1 year     
• Node.js: 1 year     
• TypeScript: 2 years
