Job Description

As a Junior MI Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting the operations and wider business team by maintaining and enhancing existing reports, responding to ad-hoc data requests, and collaborating closely with Sr MI Analyst’s to dive deeper into trends and improvement areas. Your insights will help shape decision-making, drive efficiencies, and improve service delivery. In this role, you will also have the opportunity to present findings, providing valuable recommendations that contribute to the ongoing success and development of our services.

Junior MI Analyst role will include but is not limited to: 

  • Deliver impactful insights – Provide ad-hoc analysis to support the Operations team in making informed decisions.
  • Support data analysis – Assist in providing insights through ad-hoc analysis to help the Operations team make data-driven decisions.
  • Reporting Responsibilities – Take ownership of producing, maintaining, and continuously improving accurate reports while also assisting with updates to ensure timely and precise delivery.
  • Work with raw data – Transform raw data into meaningful datasets and reports, learning to organize and clean data as needed.
  • Identify trends & solve problems – Highlight data issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally – Engage with teams across the business to capture and refine reporting requirements.
  • Experience in contact centre/commercial reporting & analysis – You understand the nuances of contact centre data (not essential but a plus) and have experience in data analysis in a similar field.
  • Analytical mindset – You enjoy working with numbers and have an interest in advancing your knowledge in learning data methodologies and statistical models.
  • A problem solver – You are solution-oriented, have a key eye for detail, take ownership and a forward thinker avoiding any roadblocks.
  • A strong communicator – You can explain complex data in a simple way to non-technical audiences.

Candidate Profile:

  • SQL Queries – Good experience with querying and managing large datasets.
  • Power BI expertise – Working knowledge in modelling (preferred), reporting, and visualisation skills.
  • Ability to present complex data in a clear, intuitive, and visually compelling way.
  • Microsoft 365 proficiency, confident in Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant tools.
  • Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and adapting to their needs.
  • Able to react quickly to changing requirements and priorities.

  • Head of RP & BI – Supporting regular reporting and presentations.
  • MI Analysts – Enhancing reporting platforms and conducting deep-dive analysis.
  • Director of CC & Transformation – Driving strategic insights and operational improvements.
  • Operations Managers – Providing critical performance reports and insights.
  • Wider Team & Business – Helping develop and implement system changes to improve efficiency.

  • Work Location: Hybrid remote in St. Neots PE19, reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
  • Hybrid Working: 1 to 2 days per week in the office
