Java Developer with a minimum of 2 years experience. As our Developer, you will join our dynamic team responsible for the development and maintenance of our software applications. To be successful, you should be able to work and communicate well with others, be enthusiastic and proactive. Technically, you will have knowledge of J2SE programming, understanding of web architectures and database skills. Your experience in Java will include software design principles and familiarity with algorithms and data structures.

Java Developer Skills and Knowledge:

• Java SDK / J2SE
• Proactive attitude
• Ability to own projects, work both independently and in an agile team, with rapidly changing priorities
• Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Understanding of common OO design patterns
• Spoken and written English for all communication with colleagues and customers

Desirable Skills and Knowledge:

• Computer Science background or degree
• Commercial core Java experience
• Experience of working in a fast paced startup environment
• Database knowledge & experience (SQL, schema design, JDBC)
• Understanding of network / web technologies (HTTP, HTML, XML)
• Working knowledge of Javascript and Node.js
• Ability to develop clean, self-documented code as part of a team
• Ability to write clear technical documentation
• Develop and maintain high-quality software applications using Java and related technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust SDKs and design patterns.
• Utilise front-end development skills, including HTML and JavaScript, to enhance user experience.
