Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled IT Support professional to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide technical assistance and support to our clients, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems.
Duties:
- Provide 24x7 on-call support as part of the field engineering team.
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
- Respond promptly to IT support requests from staff or clients.
- Set up accounts for new users and assist with password resets.
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and resolving hardware or software faults.
- Test and evaluate new technology.
- Requirements:
- Proven work experience in IT Support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of VPNs, operating systems (e.g., Windows), computer networking, ServiceNow, firewalls, software troubleshooting, computer hardware, LANs, and help desk support.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a relevant field.
- Full clean driving license and access to own vehicle.
- Must have a laptop, mobile device, and internet access.
- Work authorisation in the United Kingdom is required.
